Adams County residents who use
our Transfer Station can bring their TVs in $0.45 / pound.
The Washington
Township Board of Supervisors recently voted to start accepting electronics from
people who are not Washington Township residents. The rate remains at
$0.45 per pound with a $25 minimum per trip. The number of electronics is
not limited. All units will be weighed for cost.
Electronics can
be taken to the transfer station on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 am until 4
pm.

Street Sign Theft on the Rise in Germany
Township
If anyone sees someone stealing street signs around
Germany Township please call the police (717-334-8111) or township office
(717-359-7537).
Tyoaka and Amanda Drive street signs in Hunters Ridge
development have been repeatedly stollen. The cost to replace a sign is
$150.

Township Official Flag Raising Ceremony
On June 13, 2015 Cole Abell of Troop 78 chartered to
St. Francis
Zavier Church of Getysburg planned, supervised and executed the sourcing,
procurement and installation of a 25' commerical flagpole in front of the
Germany Township Municipal Building, as part of his Eagle Scout service project.
The success of this project is a result of the cooperative efforts of
Township Officials, donors and many volunteers.
The flagpole complements the
Township's state of the art facilities and symbolizes the traditions and values
for which it exists.
