Ordinance 2 No longer effective, superseded by Ordinance 16 (An ordinance regulating trash disposal). 
Ordinance 3 An ordinance providing for the establishment of a planning commission within the township of Germany, establishing qualifications for the membership on the planning commission and prescribing its duties and responsibilities. 
Ordinance 4 No longer effective, superseded by Ordinance 41 (An ordinance regulating mobile home parks). 
Ordinance 5 No longer effective, superseded by Ordinance 41 (An ordinance regulating subdivision). 
Ordinance 6 An ordinance prohibiting the construction of a drain, culvert, footwalk, dive or driveway, or other means of ingress or egress onto a township road without a permit; providing for permits, regulations and filing fees, and imposing fines and penalties for violations.
Ordinance 7 An ordinance to grant to Littlestown Telecable Corporation, a franchise to construct, maintain, and operate a system for the interception, origination, distribution and sale of electronic signals. 
Ordinance 8 An ordinance of the township of Germany, Adams County, Pennsylvania, providing that no public streets of the township be opened or cut by any person; firm, corporation or utility without first securing a permit in accordance with the township code, and providing penalties for the violation thereof. 
Ordinance 9 Ordinance amending and supplementing Act 537 (P.L. 1535 (1965) as amended).
Be it enacted and ordained by the Germany Township Board of supervisors of Adams County, Pennsylvania and it is hereby enacted and ordained as follows:
The purpose of this ordinance is to clarify and make certain when it is necessary for a property owner in Germany Township to apply for and obtain a permit for the installation of an individual sewage system or a community sewage system. 
Ordinance 10 An ordinance requiring all persons, partnerships, businesses and corporations to obtain a building permit for the construction, reconstruction, enlargement, alteration or relocation of any building or structure: providing for the issuance of such building permits; and providing for penalties for any persons who fail or refuse to comply with the requirements or provisions of this ordinance. 
Ordinance 11 Occupant of a newly constructed dwelling or newly placed mobile home in Germany Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania, to obtain a Certificate of Occupancy prior to occupying the same and providing penalties for violation. 
Ordinance 12 An ordinance establishing regulations for construction of all individual or semi-public water supply systems within Germany Township, Adams County, PA. 
Ordinance 13 An ordinance to prohibit parking on various roads within The Township of Germany. 
Ordinance 14 An ordinance to regulate the gross weight of vehicles on the streets and highways within The Township of Germany. 
Ordinance 15 Ordinance No. 1985-1
An ordinance regulating junk dealers and the establishment and operation of junk yards, providing for the issuance of licenses for junk dealers and for the establishment and operation of junk yards, and prescribing penalties for violations, in Germany Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania. 
Ordinance 16 Ordinance No. 1985-2
An ordinance regulating the accumulating, collecting, depositing and dumping of sold waste, refuse, trash, garbage, rubbish, decaying matter and organic waste substance; licensing and regulating sites for the disposal of sold waste, refuse, trash, garbage, rubbish, decaying matter and organic waste substance; providing for a procedure for processing applications to operate such sites; and providing penalties for any violation of this ordinance. 
Ordinance 17 Ordinance No. 1985-3
The following ordinance is hereby adopted by the Board of Supervisors of Germany Township. Whereas the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has enacted Act 68 of 1985 setting forth certain guidelines and limitations for the compensation of supervisors of townships of the second class. 
Ordinance 18 An ordinance requiring all owners of rental dwelling unit or units to certify to the tax collector of Germany Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania, a listing of all tenants and their addresses on or before December 31 of each year and providing for penalties for failure to supply such list. 
Ordinance 19 Ordinance No. 88-1
An ordinance regulating the parking of vehicles on the streets and roads in The Township of Germany, Adams County, Pennsylvania, during periods of snowfall. 
Ordinance 20 No longer effective, superseded by Ordinance 41 (An ordinance regulating subdivision). 
Ordinance 21 Ordinance No. 88-2
An ordinance requiring all persons, partnerships, businesses, and corporations to obtain a building permit for any construction or development; providing for the issuance of such building permits; setting forth certain minimum requirements for new construction and development within areas of Germany Township which are subject to flooding; and establishing penalties for any persons who fail, or refuse to comply with, the requirements or provision of this ordinance. 
Ordinance 22 Ordinance No. 1990-1
An ordinance of the Board of Supervisors of Germany Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania, prohibiting nuisances and restricting the height of grass, weeds and other vegetation on private or public property within the township; providing for the removal thereof on public or private grounds after notice to the owners to do so, and in default thereof, to collect the costs of such removal by the township; and prescribing penalties for violation. 
Ordinance 23 Ordinance No. 1991-1
An ordinance to provide for the marking of houses and mailboxes within Germany Township with the address of the house and mailbox. 
Ordinance 24 Ordinance No. 1991-2
An ordinance regulating the use and maintenance of holding tanks and privies in Germany Township. 
Ordinance 25 No longer effective, Ordinance No. 1993-1 repealed July 31, 2008 by Ordinance # 38.
An ordinance of Germany Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania, recognizing Kingsdale Volunteer Fire Company as the officially recognized fire company to provide fire protection and related services to the Township of Germany, authorizing activities of the fire company, officers, and members of the fire company for the purpose defining public firefighting duties and providing additional protection to firefighters under workmen's compensation law. 
Ordinance 26 Ordinance No. 1995-1a
The following ordinance is hereby adopted by the Board of Supervisors of Germany Township, Adams County.
Whereas, the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has enacted Act__ of 1995, setting forth certain guidelines and limitations for the compensation of supervisors of townships of the second class. 
Ordinance 27 Ordinance No. 1996-1
An umbrella ordinance amending existing township ordinances intending to adopt that all township created violations and penalties shall be deemed civil in nature and expressly converting all existing township ordinances creating summery offences to civil violations pursuant to Act 60 of 1995. 
Ordinance 28 Ordinance No. 1996-2
An ordinance regulating traffic items within the Township of Germany, County of Adams including but not limited to traffic speeds, parking regulations, weight limits, and snow emergency routes and repealing certain existing Township Ordinances. 
Ordinance 29 Ordinance No. 1997-1
An ordinance relating to insurance coverage and insurer engaged by the township. 
Ordinance 30 Ordinance No. 1998-1
An ordinance prohibiting the defecation by animals upon public and private property and designating such defecation as being a nuisance, prohibiting noise disturbance of animals an designating such noise disturbance as a nuisance, imposing a duty upon owners of animals to dispose of animals feces, exempting dogs accompanying blind or handicapped persons, and fixing a fine for violation hereof. 
Ordinance 31 Ordinance No. 1-2000
An ordinance establishing fees for return check charges; service charges for duplicate tax bills and service charge fee for certification as to the payment status or delinquent tax statement prepared by the tax collectors office. 
Ordinance 32 Ordinance No. 1-2002
An ordinance of The Township of Germany, Adams County, Pennsylvania, appointing the elected tax collector at the collector of delinquent taxes. 
Ordinance 33 Ordinance 2004 No. 1
An ordinance to promote the general health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Germany Township, Adams County, PA and to conform to the requirements of the Pennsylvania Construction Code Act and regulations of municipalities electing to administer and enforce the building code provisions of the Code.  
Ordinance 34 Ordinance #1-2005
An ordinance authorizing the Township of Germany, Adams County, Pennsylvania, to enter into an intermunicipal agreement creating a shared Adams County UCC Board of Appeals. 
Ordinance 35 Ordinance 2005 No. 2
An ordinance to promote the general health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Germany Township, Adams County, PA for the operation of an engine brake on a gasoline-powered or diesel-powered motor vehicle not equipped with mufflers or equipped with defective or modified exhaust mufflers, so as to create excessive noise through the use of said engine brake, adversely affects the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of Germany Township and, therefore is a nuisance in fact. 
Ordinance 36 Ordinance 2005-3
An ordinance of the Township of Germany, Adams County, Pennsylvania authorizing and empowering the York Adams Tax Bureau to impose and retain those costs and fees associated with the collection of the delinquent taxes in accordance with Act 192 of 2004. 
Ordinance 37 An ordinance to adopt the Monocacy River Storm Water Management.(Repealed November 12, 2012 per Ordinance 50) 
Ordinance 38 An ordinance to repeal Ordinance 25 which set Kingsdale Fire Department as the fire department for the Township. 
Ordinance 39 An ordinance to appoint Alpha Fire Company as the fire department for the Township. 
Ordinance 40 Ordinance 2008-4
An ordinance to promote the public health, safety and general welfare and their property by regulating the operation of recreational vehicles as defined in said ordinance within the Township of Germany, Adams County, Pennsylvania: to provide for the enforcement of said ordinance and penalties for the violation of the said; and to amend or repeal any other ordinance or parts of ordinances in conflict therewith. 
Ordinance 41 Revise the township SALDO to add Landscaping. 
Ordinance 42 An ordinance requiring all persons, partnerships, businesses, and corporations to obtain a permit for any construction or development; providing for the issuance of such permits; setting forth certain minimum requirements for new construction and development within areas of the township, which are subject to flooding; and establishing penalties for any persons who fail, or refuse to comply with, the requirements or provisions of this ordinance. 
Ordinance 43 An ordinance of Germany Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania, authorizing membership in the Adams County Council of Governments, approving the "Adams County Council of Governments proposed bylaws and agreement" as and for the agreement for the council, authorizing the ratification of the bylaws, and providing for the appointment of delegates by resolution. 
Ordinance 44 An ordinance of Germany Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania, Amending portions of Ordinance No. 2004-1 requiring building permit in compliance with the Pa. Uniform Construction Code (UCC) for storage, utility and miscellaneous use structures in excess of 250 square feet. 
Ordinance 45 An ordinance of Germany Township, adopting the “Construction and Materials Specifications” as prepared by C.S. Davidson, Inc., to be used for all improvements and construction in and for subdivisions and land development and other public improvements with Germany Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania.

Ordinance 48 An ordinance of Germany Township, authorizing the township to enter into intergovernmental cooperation agreements with Union and Mount Joy townships, Adams County, PA
