Susan Hansen, Secretary/Treasurer

Hi, I am Susan Hansen, Germany Township Secretary, Treasurer, Open Records Officer and member of the York/Adams Tax Bureau. I am the front line person in the office handling many duties from answering phones to billing and receiving, as well as taking minutes at the numerous committee meetings. I am also a certified Notary. I bring 10+ years of government experience to the township secretary role for which I was hired in 2009.

My outlook for the future is to see the township grow with more recreation, and to work to modernize the township office by converting to electronic documentation. My goal to have an office in the township was realized in 2012 when we moved to our new location at 136 Ulricktown Rd.

Retirement of Bill Ridinger

Bill Ridinger, our previous roadmaster, retired from his leadership responsibilities of 39 years with Germany Township in August 2015. He was honored with a surprise retirement party sponsored by the township in August. Friends, family and associates attended to congratulate Bill and wish him the very best.  On November 12, 2015 Bill received a Proclamation from the county commissiomers in honor of Bill's service. Below are some of the photos of his retirement party and the county proclamation.

Listening to all the good (and humorous) stories.

Getting around to that cake.

That amazing cake!

We all will miss you Bill!

Bill's biggest fan. Best wishes to both of you.
